Executive HR Women’s Network Launching in Pittsburgh

A New Resource for Women HR Leaders

We’re excited to share that BV Staffing, a division of Staffing Solutions Enterprises (SSE), is expanding the Executive HR Women’s Network (EHRWN) to Pittsburgh. Following SSE’s acquisition of BV Staffing in April 2024, this marks the next step in our mission to support women in HR leadership roles across the region.

Since 2006, the EHRWN has been a staple in Northeast Ohio’s HR community, providing a space for women to connect, share ideas, and advance their careers. Founded by Carmella Calta and Sue Ann Naso, the group has been a free resource for women in HR leadership, offering professional development and networking opportunities in an inclusive, collaborative environment. Now, we are bringing that same energy and dedication to the Pittsburgh market.

Why We’re Expanding to Pittsburgh

The acquisition of BV Staffing opened the door for us to bring more than just our staffing expertise to Pittsburgh. As we began integrating our services into the region, we saw a unique opportunity to support local women HR professionals by expanding our network.

HR leaders in Pittsburgh face many of the same challenges their Cleveland counterparts have encountered—navigating complex HR landscapes, managing organizational changes, and ensuring they stay ahead in a rapidly evolving field. The Executive HR Women’s Network offers a platform where these professionals can connect with one another, learn from industry experts, and grow their influence, all at no cost.

What is the Executive HR Women’s Network?

The EHRWN is designed for women in HR leadership positions, regardless of industry. Our network is diverse, with members representing sectors from healthcare to finance to manufacturing. What unites the group is a shared commitment to tackling the challenges of HR leadership and a passion for professional development.

In addition to professional growth, members benefit from the chance to meet with peers facing similar challenges. It’s more than a networking group—it’s a community where members come together to share insights, provide support, and work on their leadership skills.

What You Can Expect from the EHRWN

By joining the Executive HR Women’s Network, Pittsburgh-based HR leaders will gain access to:

  • Quarterly Professional Development Sessions: Led by experienced industry professionals, these sessions are designed to provide actionable insights on leadership, HR trends, and personal growth.
  • Networking Socials: These events offer the opportunity to meet other HR leaders in a relaxed setting, fostering meaningful connections outside the workplace.
  • Private LinkedIn Group: Members can join our exclusive group to continue conversations, share resources, and stay connected between in-person events.
  • Newsletter Access: Our newsletter keeps members informed about upcoming events, relevant blog articles, and professional development opportunities.

Whether you’re looking for mentorship, guidance on HR challenges, or simply want to build relationships with other professionals in your field, the EHRWN offers a place to do that and more.
